B-vitamin and Mental Wellbeing: pilot clinical trialUpdated 2 days ago

What does the clinical study say about Vitals⁺?

Vitals⁺ isn’t just built on science—it’s backed by it. We conducted a pilot clinical trial to explore its impact on nutritional status and mental wellbeing in healthy volunteers.

🔬 What was the study?

A team of researchers from Heights and King’s College London conducted a study to test how daily Vitals⁺ affects key B-vitamin levels and mood in healthy adults.

Over 8 months, participants took Vitals⁺ daily. Before and after the intervention we measured:

  • B-vitamin blood biomarkers (how much of the nutrient is readily available in the body)

  • Mental wellbeing, using validated clinical questionnaires like the POMS, GHQ-12, and PSS

🤔 What did the study find?

Improved nutrient biomarker status:
Thiamine (B1), riboflavin (B2), folate (B9), and vitamin B12 levels significantly increased.
93% reached optimal Thiamine status, and 100% improved their Riboflavin levels to optimal. There was also a 43% improvement in Red Blood Cell Folate levels and a 43% increase in Serum B12 concentrations

Positive impact on mental wellbeing
Participants experienced significant reductions in: Fatigue, Confusion and Tension. There was also signs of a reduction in Psychological Distress.

🤔 Why does it matter?

These B-vitamins are essential for neurotransmitter production and energy metabolism—so topping them up can make a big difference in how you feel, especially in today’s nutrient-depleted world.
